Dollo Ado Refugee Transit Centre, Ethiopia World Vision Ethiopia Vacancy at World Vision Ethiopia: Finance Officer for Dolo Ado ERP ( Re advertised)   Purpose of the position: To ensure that financial and accounting operation and reports accurately reflect the condition of the organization and provide reliable information necessary for operations Major duties:- ·         Prepares petty cash slip and effects approved cash payment up to petty cash limit of Emergency Response Program on time ·         Collect cash with appropriate voucher and deposit cash collections intact, Prepares deposit voucher to record cash collection and submit to Emergency Response Program finance officer for review ·         Prepares cash disbursement voucher to replenish petty cash and properly code transaction as instructed by Finance Officer ·         Prepare income tax payment on monthly basis and submit to finance officer for review and pay to the government accordingly  ·         Ensure supplier/vendors are paid on time and legal VAT registered receipt is received for all effected payments and mark paid stamp and attach to the payment documents ·         Ensure safe custody of Emergency Response Program Petty Cash fund, uncollected cheque, new cheque pads & bid bonds, and other legal documents related to finance ·         Handles all bank correspondence matters like submitting Emergency Response Program, transfer request, collect advices and related duties ·         Prepares petty cash slip and effects approved cash payment up to petty cash limit of Emergency Response Program  on time ·         Collect cash with appropriate voucher and deposit cash collections intact, Prepares deposit voucher to record cash collection and submit to Emergency Response Program  finance officer for review ·         Prepares cash disbursement voucher to replenish petty cash and properly code transaction as instructed by Finance Officer   Job Requirements Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training: ·         BA(First Degree) or Diploma in Accounting or Finance and Experience of working in finance 3 years for BA (First degree holder) and 5 years for Diploma holder.
