About the projectJSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. seeks to recruit health information system professionals, as well as finance and administrative staff for its Data Use Project (DUP). The goal of the project is to improve collection and use of high-quality routine information; improve the quality, efficiency, and availability of primary health, and nutrition services at all levels of the Ethiopian health system. JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) is a public health management consulting and research organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals and communities throughout the world.Summary of ResponsibilitiesThe G-Suite Administrator will be embedded in the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) and manages the G-Suite environment. This includes - managing user accounts, roles, and permissions; providing training to end-users; building the capacity of the FMOH staff to manage the G-Suite; contributing to the development of ICT policy on the use of the G-Suite apps; ensuring that all required security apparatuses are put in place to protect user data; responds to end-users support requests; etc.Specific ResponsibilitiesThe system admin will work in collaboration with the FMoH team and assist the central and regional project teams to:Supports the development ICT policy on the use of the G-Suite environment and closely works with the Health Information Technology Directorate (HITD) for its implementation;Manages G-Suite accounts (creating/updating accounts), roles/access levels, groups, and security configurations;Ensures that FMOH, regional health bureau (RHB), and other agency staffs have an account and access to the G-Suite environmentProduces training materials and organizes end-user training; develops SOPs, guidelines, and other necessary documents;Regularly monitors user accounts, storage, third-party G-Suite apps, service setting, and permissions, etc.Manages G-Suite services such as Calendar (events), Gmail, and DriveManages other cloud-based services as necessaryRegularly monitors the security of the G-Suite environment including but not limited to data protection; sends out security alerts; responds to security threats, etc.Oversees abnormal logins (i.e. failed login attempts, odd geolocation, etc.) and abnormal download or transfer of dataServes as a focal person for end-users’ support requestsDevelops strategies for the deployment and use of G-Suite in RHBs, and agenciesMonitors usage and ensure monthly payment for G-Suite is done on time with Finance and Operations
